Women's Ministry

Welcome to FBC Denison Women’s Ministry!

We invite you to come be a part of God’s ministry with us. There is something for all ages, all interests, and all talents. It would be our pleasure to help you find a place (or two or three) to belong. I encourage you to learn the basics of our ministry here at FBC, keeping in mind that while some of our ongoing ministries are listed here, we are always searching, changing, and going where God leads.

If you have questions about any of this information or would just like to know someone who can help you find your place of ministry, feel free to contact me at womensministry@gsuite.fbcdenison.org.

Wishing you God’s richest blessings,
Carolyn Ramsey
FBC Denison Women’s Ministry Leader

Who are we?

As a firmly established branch of the FBC life-giving forest of believers, we seek to become influential women in our local body and community. We do this within our five (5) principles of worship, ministry, evangelism, fellowship, and discipleship.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart. When we express our love to God, we’re worshipping.

Love your neighbor as yourself. The church exists to minister to people both within and outside the local church body. Ministry is demonstrating God’s love to others by meeting their needs and healing their hurts in the name of Jesus.

Go and make disciples. The church exists to communicate God’s Word. We are ambassadors for Christ, and our commission is to evangelize the world. Growth is not optional; it is commanded by Jesus. God wants people saved.

As believers we commit to a discipleship journey that includes group and personal study of God’s Word as we seek God personally, for our church, our community, our country, and our friends and families.

Special Projects & Events

We commit to participate in special projects led under Women’s Ministry or the whole of the church. Some projects are on-going while others are at various times of the year for specific focus. Past and current projects include Laundry Love, Christmas Boxes, Cookie Decorating, Trunk or Treat, Harvest Heat.

Occasionally we just get together to be together. We typically have a luncheon in the beginning of the year after worship on a Sunday. We provide the food. You bring yourself along with your interest in getting involved. At other times there will be crafty things to do, get yourself beautified or just times to have some fun. All of our activities provide opportunity for fellowship and getting connected to God and each other.
